(Finally) Recording a new EP…. in a dash

After 15 years of being too busy with other stuff (including playing music with other wonderful folk, like Van Walker), I’ve set an outrageously ambitious date to launch a new little solo record.

Set a deadline, just get it done….right?
That’s the theory at least.

So I’ve been squeezing far-too-limited spare hours/minutes into trying to get SOMETHING down, in vacant available spots like here in sunny Morwell #Gunaikurnai Country.
Perhaps not the ideal way to capture #art (certainly not in the majesty I imagined for some of these songs)
….but I’ll wait forever for perfection.

And it’s all made much more fun when musical comrades like Beau Atkinson join in (and kindly let me occupy spaces with such FANTASTIC WALLPAPER!!!).

AND it was very fun squeezing in a quick session with some very old musical friends, who reunited to help chunk out an old song of mine on the record.

Dates, details, sneak peaks coming soon.
Wish me luck, and spare hours with minimal lawnmowers running next door….

In the meantime, snaps here depict the ad hoc chaos of trying to cram out little recording sessions in random domestic spaces with limited time…
